much does a chance cost and how is payment collected?
1 ticket - US $10.00
3 tickets - US $25.00
15 tickets - US $100.00
Payments are charged to players' credit cards online. Each ticket will
be issued a ticket number immediately. Tickets will be printed out at
Mariamante Academy and placed in a drawing drum. Tickets will also be
available for purchase in person in the school office during school hours.
Does

of payment other than credit cards and Paypal?
Customers
may establish and use any of the above payment methods for online purchase.
We accept cash only in the school office.
What
are my chances of winning?
Each
ticket sold has a 1/5,000 chance of winning. Drawing will be conducted
after the last ticket is sold. Purchasing additional tickets betters your
chances of winning.
Are
there any restrictions for participants playing a raffle?
In
the case of the Mariamante Academy Charity Golf Vacation Raffle, there
are no citizens restricted from participating, and residents are excluded
only from those areas where such activities are strictly prohibited.
How
are the restrictions enforced?
When
players register they voluntarily inform Mariamante
Academy Charity Golf Vacation Raffle of
their domicile and nationality and whether any restrictions exist.
What
country governs the raffle's rules and regulations of the drawings?
The
raffle is run in accordance with the State of Virginia's guidelines for
charitable raffles.
How
and when are the winners notified?
Each
raffle's winning number will be posted for a minimum of thirty (30) days
on the
Mariamante Academy Charity Golf Vacation Raffle
winner's page. Additionally, individual winners will be notified within
twenty-four (24) hours of their selection, via telephone and e-mail.
How
is the raffle drawn and the winning number selected?
Each
entry is assigned a ticket number. Each entry ticket is printed at our
school office and placed in a drawing drum. One winning ticket will be
drawn randomly from all entries submitted on the next business day after
the purchase of last ticket.
How
do you define "prize"?
All
"prizes" awarded are listed on the Mariamante
Academy Charity Golf Vacation Raffle website. The "prize" is
a certificate for a golf vacation package with a maximum retail value
of $5,000. Winner may choose any combination of options including lodging,
greens fees, tee times, car rental and roundtrip airfare at your choice
of resort in City. Winner must contact Golfzoo.com to make all arrangements
and reservations.
How
do I know that prizes in the raffle are really won?
With
the permission of the winners they will be identified.
If
I don't want to accept the prize, can anything be substituted in its place?
The
prize offered is a golf vacation including lodging, greens fees, etc.
The winner may choose not to use all the portions of the package. Winner
has the option to choose $5,000.00 cash and/or any other vacation destination
of their choice.
If
I refuse a prize and donate the whole proceeds to the charity of my choice,
can I deduct the amount from my taxable income?
You
must check with your accountant or tax attorney.
Can
I get a refund?
No.
All purchases of raffle tickets are final. If a raffle is not completed
within a reasonable time period, all monies will be returned, or the ticket
purchasers will be allowed to participate in another raffle.
Who
decides to cancel a raffle choice?
The
decision to cancel a raffle is exclusively that of Mariamante Academy.
How
many chances can I buy?
Individuals
may purchase as many tickets as they wish.
